About Teacher Turned Traveller

Hi there! My name is Becky, a science teacher in her 30's who decided to take a one year sabbatical from the classroom. After seven years teaching, an unexpected divorce, and several signs from the universe, I knew I needed a change. I decided to take a year off and focus on myself. Why should I wait until retirement to go on exciting trips? Why not right now?! So I saved up, put in my leave of absence and began my adventure. Now that I am back in the classroom, I will still make time for adventures when I can. This blog is a space to share my travel experiences, tips, and insights about exploring the world.
